Job Description

Nuclear Energy Opportunity Overview: Accountant position based in Houston, TX. This is a 1-year contract assignment.(W-2) Prepare schedules and journal entries for different agencies and states. You will report to the onsite Manager. Your Day-to-Day: Prepare schedules and journal entries. Prepare monthly state and federal reports for the following agencies:

• General Land Office (GLO)
• Louisiana Department of Natural Resources (LDNR)
• Office of Natural Resources Revenue (ONRR)
• Commissioner of Land Office (CLO)
• Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC)

Severance Tax Filings for the following States:

• Texas
• Louisiana
• Oklahoma

Maintain tax rates and new setups within ERP.

• Record severance tax reimbursements related to marketing fee adjustments.
• Calculate and process owner interest payments.
• Assist with owner inquiries.
• Develop cross-departmental relationships to ensure information flow.

Who You Are:

• Must have a 4 year. Accounting degree.
• Must have at least (15+ Years)
• Prepared schedules and journal entries
• Experience maintaining tax rates and new setups within ERP.

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $53.00/hr. to $58.00/hr.
