You will also work in a team environment, honing the credit and corporate banking skills necessary to be successful in the industry.**POSITION: Corporate and Investment Banking Associate – Credit NBFIs**Associate will cover non-bank financial institutions and have the opportunity to gain exposure to various sub-sectors, products and client groups as well as work closely with the Investment Banking origination team. Preference given for credit experience with insurance carriers.**In this capacity you will:*** Assist in the preparation of detailed high quality credit submissions for clients in the Financial Institutions sector, which will detail risks and mitigants and include a review of financial performance and key metrics, as part of a team.* Research and analyze clients’ financial situations, industry and market data;* Construct and sensitize detailed financial models that help evaluate key credit metrics, financial covenants, and sensitivity to key variables;* Compile data through due diligence and prepare comprehensive credit reviews that analyze transactions and client risks;* Assist with deal negotiations and documentation; and* Interact with clients and credit adjudicators.**Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and 3-5 years of relevant credit and industry experience, with a combination of strong financial/analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
