Job Description

We are placing a Brand Designer at a well-funded AI automation startup in San Francisco, $70M raised, used in production by enterprise teams across multiple industries. This is the first dedicated brand hire, reporting directly to the co-founder. You'd own the entire visual identity and creative output as the company scales rapidly.

What you'll do:

• Own end-to-end creation of visual assets for every product launch — blog covers, marketing posts, landing pages, and video assets
• Design and build marketing pages and brand experiences directly in Framer or Webflow — not just designing for handoff
• Develop and maintain a consistent visual narrative across all brand touchpoints as the company scales
• Collaborate directly with the co-founder and engineering team to translate feature releases into compelling visual stories — illustrations, AI-generated imagery, and layered compositions
• Use AI tools to move fast and ship creative work independently without waiting on engineering
• Push the brand from its current stage to a fully realized, polished identity

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in brand and web design for SaaS or technical products
• Experience designing and shipping marketing and landing pages for products used at significant scale — high design bar companies preferred
• Strong hands-on ability in Figma for UI and brand design
• Must be able to build directly in Framer or Webflow, not just design for handoff
• Motion and interaction design skills — Lottie, Rive, or Framer animations
• Exceptional visual taste — illustration, imagery, or visual storytelling as a defining creative strength
• Must be based in San Francisco, 5 days on-site, no flexibility

Preferred:

• Background at companies known for exceptional design craft
• Experience building template libraries or photo composition systems
• Comfortable using AI image generation tools and layering text over imagery tastefully
• Visa transfers supported — H1B and OPT/STEM OPT welcome, no new H1B sponsorship from outside the US
