The City of Green Bay's Police Department is seeking part-time Community Service Officers to provide essential support to the Police Department by assisting staff with a variety of paraprofessional tasks. Responsibilities include directing traffic, preparing reports, security at City Hall, performing security checks at City buildings and parks, and responding to animal calls. Work is performed under the general supervision of the on-duty supervisor or a Police Officer. Successful candidates will possess conflict resolution skills, the ability to work independently, and the ability to multi-task. Work Schedule Minimum of 15 hours/week; maximum of 30 hours/week. Varied shifts between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license and a good driving record. Bilingual skills (Spanish, Hmong, etc.) preferred. Must have acceptable personal and professional history as determined by successfully completing a background investigation.
