We opened our practice in 2009 in Fort Gibson because we wanted to position our
practice in a location that “needed” a dentist. To that end we settled on Fort Gibson as it is in
Oklahoma’s most underserved county and it is the kind of place in which we wanted to raise our
family. We wanted to be in a place with high dental need and plenty of opportunity so that we
wouldn’t ever be in the position of “selling” dentistry as I find that unsavory and outside of my
personal goals. My goals as a dentist are to provide long-term, comprehensive, predictable
treatment as a service to my fellow man. To achieve that Dr. J and I have devoted ourselves to
professional development. Competence breeds confidence in both the practitioner and the
patient. Being highly competent requires a commitment to continuous professional growth and
a commitment to procedural systems. To achieve these goals within daily clinical treatment we
have developed systems for each of our procedures. The systems were taken from the latest
dental literature and our doctoral training but we aren’t married to any technique. As the
profession moves forward so will we. Our hearts are open to change and one of our goals is to
be coachable.
We are not seeking to hire an underling. We are looking for a colleague. Our practice
and practice philosophy are built around the ideals of hard work, commitment to the patient,
commitment to our employees and a commitment to excellence. Working in our office will afford
the ideal candidate an opportunity to grow in their ability to communicate with patients, create
comprehensive treatment plans, and improve their ability to be productive and
well-compensated.

Dentist

Role Expectations
1. Treat all patients and employees with respect and kindness above all things.
2. Perform high quality dentistry while adhering to best practices and evidence-based
dentistry.
3. Work at least 3 days per week with one of those days being Friday. Fridays will be a
solo day in the office. Fridays are very important as we want to increase the number of hours of
operation and give the candidate the opportunity to see new patients.
4. Produce 500k + in first 12 months of employment

part-time $150,000 - $999,999 per year

Compensation Package
1. 28% of adjusted production or $1000 daily guarantee minus 1⁄2 of lab costs. (The
doctor must consider their lab fee in every level of practice. This provision helps
the candidate understand that connection.)
2. We offer a retirement vehicle and will negotiate the details once we’ve settled on
a candidate. I believe that everyone should get the opportunity to retire and I will help the
candidate achieve this in any way that I can.
3. Profit Sharing will be considered on an individual basis. It is my goal for
everyone to be part of the profit sharing program, BUT the candidate must be profitable for this
to happen. The timing of this provision will be dependent upon the candidate’s individual skill
level and ramp-up interval.
4. Quarterly bonus up to $5000 per quarter based on meeting production goals.
We are willing to negotiate on some of these items and we will customize the compensation
package once we have settled on a candidate. The candidate’s earning potential in this office is
limited only by the candidate.

Ideal Candidate:
The criteria for the ideal candidate is simple: honest, competent, and ethical. This is a
unique opportunity for a dentist as they will join a mature practice that is operating on refined
systems with well-trained auxiliaries. These systems are in place to ensure we provide
long-term, predictable dentistry for our patients and allow the practitioner to execute more ideal
treatment. Who wants to come to work and do interproximal fillings, back to back, all day—NO
ONE! While there are lots of fillings to do in any practice and doing them well is essential to
daily practice, we want our doctors to have a schedule that is productive and fulfilling. This is an
