Heavy Duty Dispatcher – Towing Company

Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and prioritize incoming service requests from customers via phone, email, or radio communication.
- Dispatch heavy-duty tow trucks and ensure timely deployment to service locations.
- Coordinate with drivers to provide accurate directions, updates, and support during service calls.
- Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, service times, and customer interactions.
- Monitor the status of ongoing jobs and adjust dispatch plans as needed to optimize efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and emergency services to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage scheduling and availability of tow trucks and drivers to meet service demands.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in dispatching, preferably within the towing or transportation industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations professionally.
- Knowledge of heavy-duty towing equipment and industry standards is a plus.
- Proficiency in dispatch software and basic computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record preferred.
