Role Overview

Apply Korean language and bilingual expertise to help improve next-generation AI systems through high-quality, culturally informed language data, evaluations, and feedback. No prior AI experience is required, your Korean language expertise is the focus of this contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and create Korean-language content for accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
• Review Korean written and spoken material for natural usage and idiomatic correctness.
• Provide detailed linguistic feedback and annotations that strengthen AI language understanding.
• Translate and localize materials between Korean and English, prioritizing contextual meaning over word-for-word translation.
• Work with project participants to improve data collection and annotation processes.
• Help develop language guidelines and resources for AI training.
• Participate in regular written and verbal discussions on progress, challenges, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Korean proficiency and advanced English skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, bilingual capability, and close attention to detail in both languages.
• Background in linguistics, translation, localization, or a related language field.
• Professional experience with language data or content review.
• Ability to give clear, constructive linguistic feedback in a collaborative setting.
• Strong intercultural awareness and sensitivity to Korean language nuances.
• Familiarity with language technology, digital content platforms, or AI-related projects is a plus.

Work Terms

• Remote independent contractor engagement.

Compensation

• $65 to $98 per hour.
