Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Associate to join our Liquor Store Team. The Liquor Associate plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and compliant shopping experience within a small team environment. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this position focuses on customer assistance, inventory management, and maintaining regulatory compliance while supporting sales and store upkeep. Promotion to Assistant Manager and career growth are available for the right person!

Hours are 2pm to 10 pm Tuesday thru Saturday! Weekends and Holidays Required to work.

This role is FT and year-round, not seasonal work.

Responsibilities

• Handle cashiering duties efficiently and accurately using Point of Sale (POS System)
• Control and monitor inventory levels
• Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits a big plus but we will train you if needed!
• Prior experience in retail sales is preferred but not necessary - we will train you!
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of retail sales techniques and strategies
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus
• Assist customers with product selection and inquiries
• Stock shelves to maintain product availability
• Verify customer age to comply with legal requirements
• Process orders promptly and accurately
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization
• Ensure compliance with all liquor regulations and store policies
• Develop and maintain product knowledge for effective sales support
• Support sales initiatives to meet store targets

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in retail or customer service
• Must be 21 years or older
