Job Description
The General Maintenance Mechanic improves the reliability and performance of plant equipment by performing preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and repairing or rebuilding industrial machinery. This role focuses on maintaining safe, efficient, and continuous production operations while upholding food safety and quality standards.

Work Environment
This role is based in an industrial food manufacturing facility with a strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and adherence to SQF, HACCP, and GMP standards. You will work around a variety of production and packaging equipment such as boilers, sorters, sizers, sensors, evaporators, and packaging machinery, using tools and technologies that include hydraulics, pneumatics, welding and fabrication equipment, basic electrical tools, PLC troubleshooting tools, and SAP for maintenance planning and documentation. The position requires flexibility to work on rotating or extended schedules aligned with seasonal production demands. During the in-season period (June through October), shifts run Monday through Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. During the off-season period (November through May), shifts run Monday through Saturday with schedules of 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, and 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The environment is fast-paced and production-focused, with expectations to maintain high 5S standards and support a safe, orderly, and efficient workspace.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.94 - $38.94/hr.
