Orthopedic Spine Surgery Specialist

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is a leading group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients. We invite applications for a specialist in Orthopedic Spine Surgery at our Tyson's Corner and Capitol Hill Medical Center.

Unlike other U.S. health systems, MAPMG is built and led by physicians who earn competitive salaries, without income based on providing individual services. Our medical group comprises of board-certified physicians across 60+ specialties. MAPMG physicians use a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) to coordinate care. Our focus is on long-term health, prevention, diagnosing, and treating diseases effectively. MAPMG researchers and staff support innovative ideas, ensuring quality care, educational programming, and advancing best practices through research.

  • Collaborative Model: Work closely with 2 experienced Physician Assistants, regional physical medicine and rehabilitation departments, regional pain management.
  • Surgical Focus: ASC, In-patient

Minimum Requirements:

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Successful completion of Spine Surgery Fellowship
  • Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

The starting annual salary for this position is $675,000 which considers an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
