Take pride in protecting homes and keeping communities safe? Smartland is hiring a licensed Pest Control Technician to support 1,400+ residential units across Northeast Ohio.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, daytime hours
• Occasional early or urgent visits
• Travel between properties
• Company vehicle provided

What You'll Do

• Inspect units for insects and rodents
• Apply treatments safely per state and EPA regulations
• Perform routine pest-control services across communities
• Set and monitor traps and bait systems
• Identify root causes and recommend preventive solutions
• Communicate clearly with residents and property teams
• Maintain accurate digital logs and treatment records
• Follow PPE and safety standards at all times

What You Bring

• Valid Ohio Pest Control License (or transferable)
• 2+ years of pest control experience
• Knowledge of common pests (ants, roaches, rodents, bed bugs)
• Strong understanding of pesticide safety and regulations
• Ability to work in crawlspaces, attics, and outdoor conditions
• Clean driving record and comfort using mobile apps

Plus: Experience in multifamily housing or minor repair skills.
