Competitive Pay: This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $30/hr. to $38hr., depending on experience and qualifications. What You'll Do: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and welding procedures and instructions. Prepare, assemble and weld various pipes and fittings using various welding techniques such as TIG, MIG, and FCAW. Perform pipe fitting and welding operations on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloys. Inspect welds for quality, ensuring compliance with ASME B31.1 AND B31.3 standards. Operate equipment safely including torches, grinders, plasma cutters, overhead cranes and positioners. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations. What You'll Need: Proficiency in TIG, MIG, and FCAW techniques. The ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols. Knowledge of industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, AWS, API). Strong understanding of pipe materials, welding metallurgy, and fabrication techniques. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality x-ray welds. Work performed in a controlled shop environment. Workstations with good lighting. Required to wear PPE including safety toe shoes, safety glasses, welding helmet, face shields, protective clothing and hearing protection. Why Join OTC Industrial Technologies?
