Overview:

AWS is looking for a sourcing-focused Recruiter II to join our global recruiting org. You'll own a req load of 12–15 roles supporting go-to-market hiring across sales and business development — sourcing passive talent, partnering closely with hiring managers, and driving a consistent candidate slate. This is a new position on a tenured, collaborative team with strong internal momentum. 11-month contract with strong potential for extension or conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own 12–15 reqs; 60% of bandwidth dedicated to sourcing and passive candidate engagement
• Build and execute sourcing strategies in partnership with hiring managers and recruiting peers
• Screen and assess candidates for fit, motivation, and role alignment — not just resume match
• Maintain pipeline visibility and deliver a consistent, well-qualified candidate slate on timeline
• Handle candidate prep, interview coordination, and recruiting admin (~40% of workflow)
• Participate in daily team meetings and regular hiring manager connects

Requirements:

Must-Have:

• 1-5 years of corporate recruiting experience — agency-only backgrounds will not be considered
• Proficient in Boolean search and passive sourcing techniques
• Experienced with recruiting reporting and pipeline data
• Strong written communicator with solid admin and documentation skills

Nice to Have:

• Former Amazon preferred
• Experience recruiting go-to-market, outbound sales, or quota-carrying roles roles.
• Background filling commercial or enterprise sales positions
