Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Carries out audit process and procedures: Gathers and reviews specification sheets to product, physically inspects product and verifies accuracy, prepares legible written reports.Understands specification sheets, rosters, work orders and QA Manuals.Keeps accurate records.Maintains objectivity, integrity and independence.Gains and maintains the confidence of co-workers and manager as it relates to judging a defect or nonconforming product.Communicates verbally to explain quality rules or guidelines, especially if nonconforming product.Works effectively in a structured setting as a member of a team.Requirements:Reads/Writes/Speaks EnglishMust be able to distinguish colors and pass color testMust be able to make decisionsBasic computer knowledgeMust be able to work in DC environmentMust be accurate and reliable when recording dataMust be able to perform basic math skills (adding, subtracting, fractions, read a ruler) and pass written testGood organizational and communication skillsMust be able to follow verbal and written directionsBasic knowledge of sewing and garment constructionAble to lift boxes (no more than 40 lbs), ability to stand for long periods of time, overtime and Saturdays may be required during peak seasonal activities, will be cross-trained to audit various products, excellent attendance, must be adaptable to changing priorities, must be able to work in fast pace and demanding environment.
