Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at an education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support students, staff, and visitors while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.95 / Hour Job Schedule: Day/Time: Thu 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service at an educational location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, student and visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post instructions and communication protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, documenting incidents and/or policy violations and communicating needed information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
