Our team is committed to doing things the right way—acting with integrity, supporting our communities, and creating long-term value. • Analyze large datasets to support planning decisions and identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, geology, finance) to ensure integrated planning outcomes
  • Produce detailed reports, presentations, and technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies in all planning activities
  • Utilize mine planning software (e.g., Vulcan, MinePlan) to create accurate and efficient designs
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and benchmarking
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mine planning, with exposure to long-range and life-of-mine planning
  • Proficiency in CAD-based mine planning software (Vulcan preferred; MinePlan or similar acceptable)
  • Strong experience with budgeting and financial evaluation related to mine planning
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas effectively
  • Experience working with large datasets and data analysis tools is considered an asset
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Trimble systems, and fleet management systems is an advantage
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Physical Demands:
