This internship is designed for students interested in combining software development with testing and quality engineering.
System Test Internship Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and maintaining tests for desktop, web and mobile applications
Execute manual and automated tests
Identify, report, track and verify software defects
Collaborate with QA engineers and developers on test plan and test script creations
Contribute to issue isolation and issue reproduction across releases and environments
Solve interesting and challenging problems while applying best practices in test automation and software quality
Requirements:
Strong programming experience in one or more of the following (C#, Python, Java, C/C++)
Interest in automation testing and software quality
Knowledge of RDBMS / SQL
Possess a good understanding of computer systems (software and hardware)
Ability to work independently under the guidance of a senior team member
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Good communications skills (presentation and documentation of results)
Desired:
Exposure to Selenium, Ranorex, Squish, Appium or similar tools
Familiarity with HTTP, REST APIs, and JSON
Experience with Postman, GitHub, Jenkins
