JOB SUMMARY:

Under the general direction of the Accounting Manager, the Staff Accountant II will offer support to the Accounting, Finance and Operations team. The Staff II Accountant will work with a degree of independence in performing accounting and financial activities for the company. The Staff Accountant II will provide management with financial information by researching and analyzing balance sheet and P&L accounts and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. This position will also act as a liaison with Managers and Executives to improve accounting procedures.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations Reconcile Revenue and COGS for different divisions monthly Provide variance reports for Revenue, COGS, and SG&A to the Accounting Manager and assist in research and resolution Review general & administrative costs for accuracy and research variances Respond to correspondence and inquiries related to sales tax Assist in gathering documentation for annual financial audit Contribute to the analysis and preparation of ad-hoc reports for management Participate in the close process by preparing month end journal entries May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting or Finance Field Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in an accounting role Must have clear and thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles Strong communication, written, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Knowledge of NetSuite and PowerBI Detail orientated and able to meet deadlines Positive attitude and willingness to learn Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary. Estimated Pay Range
