Paramedic
Location: Sparks, NV

About the Position

Key Responsibilities

The Paramedic will provide onsite
emergency medical and first-aid services , supporting the health and safety
of employees at the worksite. Responsibilities may include:

• Provide emergency medical assessment and treatment
• Respond to workplace medical emergencies and injuries
• Provide first aid and stabilization as needed
• Assess patients and determine appropriate level of care
• Perform BLS, ACLS and PALS interventions when appropriate
• Coordinate EMS activation and patient transport when necessary
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records
• Support workplace health and safety initiatives
• Assist with emergency preparedness and response activities
• Follow applicable medical protocols, safety procedures and

client policies

• Maintain confidentiality of employee medical information
• Work collaboratively with onsite safety/medical personnel and

emergency responders

Required Experience & Certifications

Previous EHS Paramedic / Onsite Medical
/ First Aid experience is required or strongly preferred.

• Current NREMT Paramedic Certification
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Current AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Current ITLS or PHTLS
• ICS 100
• ICS 200
• ICS 700
• ICS 800

Highly Desired

• Nevada State Paramedic License
• CEVO (Coaching the Emergency Vehicle Operator)
• EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operator Course)
• Previous EHS / Occupational Health / Onsite Medical

experience

• Experience providing medical support in an industrial or large

workplace environment
