Job Overview
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support rehabilitative care within a clinical therapy setting. This role involves assisting Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans designed to improve patient mobility, strength, and functional independence.
The PTA will work closely with patients and the rehabilitation team to deliver hands-on therapy interventions and support recovery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Physical Therapists in executing treatment plans
Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training
Monitor and document patient progress and response to therapy
Support patients in achieving functional rehabilitation goals
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EMR systems
Educate patients on exercises and home care programs
Ensure a safe and organized therapy environment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Requirements
Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in California
State-issued identification required
