Experience is welcome - but it is not required. This position is designed for someone interested in growing into a Veterinary Technician role over time. We can teach veterinary skills. We're looking for someone who brings the attitude, ability, curiosity, and work ethic that make those skills worth teaching. What You'll Learn You'll start by learning the foundations of working safely and effectively in a veterinary hospital, including: Fear Free patient handling and restraint Preparing exam rooms and treatment areas Assisting veterinary technicians and doctors Patient care and comfort Hospital cleanliness, organization, and infection-control standards Preparing for appointments and procedures Veterinary terminology and basic medical knowledge Laboratory procedures and equipment Efficient hospital and appointment flow Client service and communication How a high-functioning veterinary team works together As your knowledge, judgment, and technical abilities grow, so will your responsibilities.
