If you are interested in this Instrument Test Technician 2 position, please contact Milos Pavlovic at 586-788-7509 or mpavlovic@alinestaffing.com Instrument Test Technician 2 Compensation The pay for this position is $35.00 – $40.00 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Instrument Test Technician 2 Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (flexible), 40 hours per week onsite Occasional after-hours, weekend, or holiday support may be required based on business needs Extension is possible Instrument Test Technician 2 Responsibilities Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair diagnostic and laboratory instrumentation equipment Provide on-site support to internal customers within a regulated laboratory environment Perform qualification, validation, and troubleshooting of complex instrumentation systems Ensure all service documentation is completed in accordance with cGDP (Good Documentation Practices) Maintain compliance with ISO standards (including ISO 9001, 10012, 17025, or 13485) Report technical issues and quality concerns to management in a detailed and timely manner Support continuous improvement initiatives and efficient workflow processes Perform calibration and maintenance activities across laboratory equipment at the San Diego site Instrument Test Technician 2 Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 7+ years of recent experience servicing laboratory equipment and instrumentation Strong hands-on experience in calibration, instrumentation, and troubleshooting complex electronics Minimum 5 years of experience working within ISO-regulated environments (ISO 9001, 10012, 17025, or 13485) Ability to read schematics and use electronic test equipment Strong technical documentation and communication skills Ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally Ability to stand, bend, and work on feet for extended periods (up to 10 hours) Valid driver’s license with good driving record required Instrument Test Technician 2 Preferred Qualifications Military TMDE/PMEL instrumentation experience strongly preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computers, or Biomedical Engineering Experience with medical devices, laboratory systems, or PC-based instrumentation Knowledge of refrigeration equipment calibration and maintenance Familiarity with CMMS systems and regulated lab environments Experience with networking, software systems, or database management in lab settings If you think this Instrument Test Technician 2 position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me - feel free to call, e-mail, or apply to this posting! *
