Legal E‐Billing Specialist - Hybrid
Highly Regarded National Law Firm
A large, nationally respected law firm is seeking an experienced Legal E‐Billing Specialist to join its team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‐oriented, tech‐savvy, and comfortable working in a fast‐paced legal environment. You’ll play a key part in ensuring accurate, timely billing and supporting the firm’s attorneys and clients with professionalism and precision.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the full e‐billing process, including invoice preparation, submission, and follow‐up
• Review billing guidelines and ensure compliance with client requirements
• Monitor invoice rejections, resolve discrepancies, and resubmit as needed
• Maintain accurate billing records and update matter information in the billing system
• Communicate with attorneys, clients, and vendors regarding billing questions or adjustments
• Assist with month‐end billing cycles and reporting
• Support general accounting and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
• 2–4+ years of law firm billing or e‐billing experience required
• Strong understanding of LEDES formats, e‐billing platforms, and client billing guidelines
• Proficiency with legal billing software (e.g., 3E, Elite, or similar systems)
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow‐through
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and staff
• Ability to manage deadlines and handle high‐volume billing cycles
