2026 Salary Range: $89,508.00 - $138,370.00/Year (includes locality)

The primary purpose of this position is to exercise 2nd level (or higher) supervisory and managerial authorities over 565 AMXS/MXDXA. Directs, manages and oversees operation of the 565th Aircraft Maintenance Production Support Flight (B-52) shop support functions in support of aircraft maintenance, overhaul and modification programs. Oversees pre-production, repair processes and overall management of the depot program from depot input through Functional Check Flight (FCF) and delivery. Responsible for all aspects of aircraft depot work processes including planning, scheduling and the maintenance portion of materiel management. Responsible for flight execution related to safety, quality, schedule and financial performance.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Mastery knowledge of the applicable principles, concepts, policies, and laws; functions, programs, and systems applicable to the duties of position; sources, responsibilities, and means for providing assistance and advice to resolve problems; and all aspects of support.

2. Ability to plan, organize, and direct, mentor, motivate and appraise the staff of a medium to large sized organization.

3. Extensive knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures.

4. Extensive knowledge of principles and practices of team building, developing interpersonal relationships, maintaining good working relationships, and leading members as a cooperative team.

5. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of an organization through subordinate supervisors.

6. Ability to utilize Art of the Possible (AoP) concepts and initiatives to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of an organization.

Additional Position Requirements:

1. Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.

2. Duty during weekends or irregular shifts may occasionally be required in support of surge workloads, exercises,

contingencies, or emergencies.

3. The work may require the employee to drive a motor vehicle. An appropriate, valid driver's license may be

required for the position.

4. Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.
